About the Author

Luca Symitz is a Norwegian teacher, language enthusiast, and storyteller with a passion for absurd. With experience from flexible teaching programs, work with students from all over the World, and studies in Scandinavian didactics, Luca has developed a unique pedagogical superpower: turning grammar into something people actually want to read about.

Blending satire, imaginative animal characters, and sharp linguistic intuition, Luca creates learning materials where verbs lift weights, adjectives argue about identity, and cats from Frogner try to manipulate shop staff with questionable strategies.

The mission

To make Norwegian fun, accessible, and delightfully simple — without ever losing pedagogical depth.

When not writing, Luca builds custom exercises, bilingual texts, and highly tailored lessons for students from all over the world. And, naturally, continues expanding the ever-growing Ragnar Katt Universe.

The vision

Through the Ragnar Katt universe, Luca aims to blend storytelling, satire, and real pedagogical structure, so learners don’t just memorize grammar—they experience it, laugh with it, and remember it.

Luca envision a world where Norwegian classes inspire creativity, where students of all ages feel empowered, curious, and confident, and where learning a language feels less like homework and more like joining an absurd, delightful adventure.
